FG Knot with Hollow Braid

Anyone tying the FG Knot for Flouro to Hollow Braid? Yeah I know it does sound kinda dumb, but was just wondering??

Seems to be a few doing that. Not to jack the thread, but any reason you wouldn’t just pull the fluoro inside the hollow and serve it?

Speed and ease. I do 10 to 15 ft of flouro can be done in minutes. Faster then inserting and serving, faster than wind ons , and can do it in anything from 4lb test and up. In my opinion leads to a better bait presentation as well. Last its never failed me.

I use the hollow because for me and my thumb I like the feel of jb hollow, super soft.

Agreed. I run wind-ons or will insert / serve when I have time. Shit hittiing the fan....FG that thing and call it a day. Solid or hollow....works great.
