If you're the type to pull hard, the cx76raptor. If you want light weight and don't plan to max out the rod, us80predator.

    CP80hp fishes 50-60#
    Cx80 Raptor fishes 60-80#
I have both the raptor is definitely heavier action, either one depending how hard you pull

    I thought friends don’t let friends fish 60? If they’ll eat 60 they’ll eat 80 so fish 80!

That would mean I would bring one less rod and reel to fish with. That's no good.

Why fish 60 (on a Predator) vs 80? Because the lighter line, longer length and softer tip casts a sardine significantly better than the 7’ 6” Raptor...

I yoyo with 60 when the bigguns are around and sometimes get sealed (that one on the ridge probably still remembers me) or rocked (they can be really tough at the 'lupe).

I build my buddy an CX80 raptor, never fished it myself but really liked the way it felt. I’d probably go that route.

So people seem to like the Raptor for 60#.....
What # line would be best for the 80 Predator? 40#? 50#?
