Gearing up for this next season. Caught a few yellows last season on the iron. Just interested to see what people like and why?

I already know the shape matters more than color. I was asking as I need some new jigs but as I have heard they do only want to bite certain colors certain days and being semi new to irons I’m asking for like a staple like mint? Also anyone have experience with Tady C,14a, or 45 heard lots about them?

I did good with a JRI 7 in mint last year. Straight mint or with gold and white

Just stop by and buy a spray can of GM Green.

If you want to know a secret get the jig hot
(If your on big boat just lay it on the engine for a bit) spray it up . Cool, fish.

Unless your fishing Calicos, color don’t mean shit.

I like Stingers, flat back Tadys, and JRI4s. Got a few nice 7Xs but that’s the entirety if my active line up.

Most Tadys these days just don’t seem to have it anymore. The 14s and Candybars swim pretty good. When they changed the metal on the Tady Cs it started a different mold they stopped swimming right.

don’t overlook the smaller jigs. 7xs and 45s are easy to throw, but there are lots of day’s they won’t touch those and the guys that can throw a 7x jr or the smaller candy bar will kill em.

My favorite color is PCO...Paint Chewed Off

I did real good last year on Salas J pot in green sardine and Baby 5x in birdshit. I'm not scared to break out the 30# jigstick. I prefer it for j pot, 7x lite and C's..one of my favorites.
