Just sold off an Accurate 665 Wide 2 speed and looking to replace.
I have a 30ld2 and 40nld2. How does the 60 compare in size to the 665 wide?

I have narrowed it down to the fathom 60, Makaira or andros A II (not sure of sizing on those).

    Thanks.

Since you already have a 40N, which is a "narrow" 4/0 size, the 60 is 2 "bumps" wider, one bump would be a "regular" 4/0, and the 60 is a "wide" 4/0; the sideplates between the 40N and the 60 remain the same.
If the heavy-frame MK series is on your radar, you can also look at the International 16VSX in this size range.

I am probably going to stick the Fathom as the price is just too good.

Went to my local Bass Pro today, but all they have is the squall 60. Is the size comparable to the squall 60?

Thanks. I will probably pull the trigger today on my 3rd fathom if the fathom 60 is = to squall 60.

    Thanks again.

Line capacities are about the same between the two, but interestingly the FTH is slightly smaller and an ounce lighter, even though its a metal frame, because graphite frames must be bulked up a bit to ensure proper strength.

I also interested in a near future to get me a FTHLD60-II
I already have a FTH40 star drag, how much bigger in height and width comparable to the 60LD?

The FTH60LD2 is a "wide" version of the FTH40NLD2.
It is taller than the star drag 40's, but not quite as tall as the SQL60LD.

I should be receiving my 60today or tomorrow.
I will take pics with it next to my 40nld2 as well as an accurate HX and LX.
