My two sons, Matthew, David and I went fishing for Father's Day. We fished Descanso for near limits of bass, rockfish and an 8lb. sheephead.

Headed over to the rockpile around 11. There were about a dozen boats on the pile when we got there including the Mission Belle, Malahini and the San Diego. Hooked three yellows and landed two flylining sardines and slow trolling. Used 20 pound test with flouocarbon leader. Nice quality fish, both yellows weighed 21 pounds,

It was an awesome Father's Day. Doesn't get any better than this!

Sorry for the late post! Will post pictures tonight.

Sound like you had a good time. Is Descanso near the R-Pile?
