decided to work all night so that I could have some time to fish with my pops today. Bait: scoop of medium size squid from nachos Water 65-66 degrees Fished the East End (Toyon Bay area and slightly west) 1/0 hook, 20-30 lb line, 1/4 egg sinker Depth: 30-100 feet Stay away from the boat traffic and find the fish. We had a steady bite of calicos, sheep heads, white fish and yellowtail all day long. They definitely wanted the fin bait over the live squid. I did manage one yellow on the iron right before we took off for Home. My highlight of the day was my triggerfish. I’ve always wanted one!
