Launched at Davies around 630am, drove past Nacho's and avoided the long wait. 3 sporties and 9 PB's. Pulled up to San Pedro bait and was loaded w/ big dines by Mike (10 minutes). Plan was to hit Farnsworth, about 6 miles short of the spot, wife went down sea sick. To far to not give it a try. She gave me her blessing, what a trooper. Anchored up, yes it's OK to anchor. Threw in 1 flyine on 30lb, 1 - 3/4 sliding egg, and started to yo yo blue white 6X too. 5 minutes later the flyine starts screaming. All my hollering didn't get the wife up. Fought it for 15 minutes to deep color. Finally coaxed the wife to come have a look. Sunk the gaff in and pulled in this guy. 28 lb 13 oz. Forgive the stupid upside down pic. Can't fix it. Left for home right after.

Hopefully it'll keep turning on, I'll be out that way Monday.

We didn't know it was even okay to anchor but so many guys spent a lot of time trying to free their anchors
