Navy talk for phone, before the cell phone.
Oh, I know. We cancelled our hard line service years ago. I’m just a smart ass.
Oh I know too...
It’s get em over the 1MC. On 1st day aboard ship was sent to retrieve a 250w fuse for a sound powered telephone. After 3-4 hours of going from shop to shop on the tender, I was informed their was no such thing but they all had fun watching me try and find one.sound powered telephones work by sound only. The mail bouys usually fooled the new guys.
How about being told to get a spanner wrench from the sea chest.
Or 50 feet of water line.
You got to find the keys to the sea chest first
How about a bucket of "blue steam" ????
Sent one guy out for a bucket of Fallopian tubes that were needed for the pitometer to function properly during an emergency November situation.
So jealous, make me proud
We need some red and green running light fluid up in the bow ....asap!
On our way steaming south towards the fishing grounds. Loaded some great looking bait and cleared the point. Captain gave a safety meeting and a game plan for the next 16 days. Internet works great on the Excel. Stay tuned and watch for the reports on the Excel web page and Facebook.
Get some David, have fun
David, have a great trip, you deserve it!
Good grief-Good luck!
A short stop by the rocks tomorrow around noon. After that back on course heading south towards the tuna grounds. Great boat and the crew has been stellar on the Excel. Keep everyone posted as we get deeper into the trip. Nice flat calm on the ocean.
send pics from the rocks
Just heard from a friend on the XL. Weather is very good and he reports very good wahoo fishing at Alijos; 60+ Wahoo in two plus hours; some anglers already have a daily limit.
Tim 106 Wahoo I think was are total today. Bombs were the ticket. Very few on live bait.
