wow! that is maybe the most customized, engineered, and dialed in 17 foot skiff i've ever seen. just wow!

did the controls fold fwd as part of the original factory design, or did you customize that as well?

Thank you. I take pride in what i do and do everything myself. I was a prior mechanic in the Navy and a CNC machinist now. So everything is done to the T.

The folding console is part of the factory design. makes it great to store things and getting to wiring if needed

Awesome boat! And very fun to read the prior build posts, clearly someone who takes very good care of their property.

A couple of questions, Do you do the maintenance yourself or take it somewhere (eg are there receipts/records) and has the trailer had any recent service.

Yep, I'll echo the prior comments. You did a great job with this boat and I enjoyed reading your build(s). This a great economical boat.

On the bow rail, I see you have what appears to be a cotter pin and maybe a flip up portion of the rail? Did you do this yourself? If so, do you have any close ups of what you did? Looks like it is for the trolling motor.

I take care of everything myself. As a prior mechanic in the Navy preventive maintenance is key in keeping everything running at it's best. The motor has never skipped a beat she runs good and smooth.

The trailer gets bearings inspected and repacked /replaced twice a year. Last time was repacked was in December. I replaced the leaf springs about 2 years ago. Trailer in good working order.

Yes the bow rail has been modified to clean the motor shaft for the TM. It is the cleanest way I can get it done. Pull the pin and a 3in rail swings out of the way for the shaft to clear. This was custom machine out of 316 stainless and them TIG welded to the rail. I will get close up tmrw for you guys

I've fished this Edgewater many times... Andy is one of the most meticulous guys I know and has dialed in this boat. He overbuilt everything and nothing needs to be done. Motor is running great, electricals are done right and the hull is super clean with no issues. I wouldn't hesitate...if you're interested. One of the best little big boats you will come across! Someone is going to score!
