I was driving home from picking up my bro and my buddy gave me a call to go make a few cast at out local park to see if they stocked some trout. Since i had a couple hrs to spare, i said why not.

Got there. Water was nice, weather was beautiful. Made a few cast, ok nothing. Then i was thinking to myself, "Since the water clarity was good, wouldn't it be nice to see a bass attack my lure?" Guess what, as soon as i thought that, (i almost thought i was seeing things), i saw a HUGE bass trailing my lure, so i maintain my constant retreive speed......and WHAMMOOoooo, the whopper opened it's bigass mouth and engulfed it. I was in shock and yelled to my buddy to come over to help me land the fish. Since we didn't bring a net, my bud had to get down and dirty, with all the bird shit on the ground, to lip this mofo. So, big thanks to the my buddy for doing a great job helping me land the fish.

BTW, it was on 6lb test. Since we didn't have a scale, we couldn't weight it. We took it home and cooked it......J'Kidding. We CPR it. Good thing there wasn't any drive-by shootings that day. =)

How much do u think it weighs?

    Enjoy the pics.

:appl:Looks like about 6.5-7. nice looking healthy fish. Try not to hold them up by the lower lip with out belly support. That could harm a fish that large. Not getting onto you just passing along usefull info.

That's not one of those crack bass like I saw on King of the Hill a few years ago? Or did you happen to notice any MS 13 tatoos anywhere on it? What a great catch in the midst of the city. I know Rednecks that drive 50+ miles for something like that. :appl:
