Wife said be careful what you create. I think im and doing a damn fine job. Took both of my babies and left Ocean Shores marina on the morning high tide. Fished the local area. Morning outgoing tide was productive. Wind picked up after the tide charges, then started howling within the hour. We got the last of our fish and rolled home. Cleaned all the lings, their bones are currently hanging in my crab traps. Hopefully we will have a few keepers in the morning. Kids had a blast! Looking forward to the salmon opener, fun to take the kids and I don't have to tie a shit load of rigs from all the break offs.

    Looks like a blast!

How is the ocean shores marina? Any issues since they shut it down and reopened it?

The marina is a pain in the ass! On a minus tide the boats sit in the mud. Can't get in or out unless the tide is at least 1.5 feet.

But it's very quite, good water pressure. The gate to the dock locks, and there is a nice fish cutting table.

And it's only one mile from my place so I deal with it, plus I know all the guys down there and they keep an eye on my boat.

    Fishing with the kids ............Priceless!

My son and I still talk about the good fishing we did when he was a little kid. He's 30 now! Before you know it you'll be taking grand kids out so enjoy them!
    Good job Dad!
