11/21 - one of those winter mornings that make living in So Cal all worth it. Lake Pacific, small ground swell, flat calm, 62 degree water and a boat load of kids that wanted to go catching. Assigned my son to load the boat. Arrived at the ramp to find tackle bag still at home. Dammmmkids. Had a pack of hooks, weights so off we go. Fished hard bottom out front for a mix of white fish, bass, sheephead, rockfish, and triggers. Sat back and just let them fish and drive the boat. All 40+ fish released for another day.
