Caught a break today as the wind conditions were perfect. Been getting beat up the last two months so today was a pleasant surprise. Water was sanitation station green, but no brown dukey. Temps at 61.5 - 63.5 degrees. Very little current. Rolled out of the rack at 6:30 and was out of the harbor at 8:00. Stayed close to the harbor and fished instead of driving. Moved around a lot (short moves) and would get hit on each move; a fish about every 30 minutes. Lost two toads in the shit cause it was just too slow to keep full alert. I ended up catching about ten or so in four hours. Back in the barn at 12:00. Glad I took the extra day attached to the holiday weekend to get this done, peace of mind without a crowd. Here's some pictures of the event. Thank you to all who sacrificed for our country in the military!
