On the bright side the OP only has to wait a couple of weeks and then the thunderbird will be gone.
Call capt Jeff on the Thunderbird and let him know yours friends with Billy K.
You shouldn't be typing until you finish your paper work and wash your hands. Nasty!
I bet this thread didn't turn out the way he (she?) thought it would.
Chargebacks get ya 86’d btw so guess that ends your fishing with Jeff. When I worked in the office at Daveys, I heard it all with cancellations. It is a zero cancellation policy just like every other landing. If they’re feeling nice they can give you credit but legally they don’t have to. I gave out credits for future trips majority of the time because I understand LIFE can happen. I could bet money OP called the landing rudely asking for a refund first. Being rude just ain’t it in life.
I forwarded this to the buddy who deals with the charge backs. Admitting to being sick on the internet doesn’t work with credit card companies btw. That’s what travel insurance is for.
Anyone want my hot sauce recipe?
Yo " RAMSNUTS " both of your threads should have
been posted in the Jokes Forum !
so what's that have to do with his story??
The unknown fisherman
Brandon, you and Justin should hang out.
Back in high school.
A good customer oriented company would have offered some type of credit and most will. I’ve had to cancel last minuet more then once. But anything offered is in good faith and should not be expected. Bitching about it on the internet makes guy look like a spoiled entitled brat. The Landing did nothing wrong so what makes you feel they owe anything?
You are as dumb as he is!
“Sarcasm was usually lost on imbeciles.”
I am missing the original poser already.
I've had to cancel two trips in the last few years due to my brother's health issues. Both times it was late notice so I just showed up at the landing and said I'm sorry but we are short one guy due to illness. I had pre-paid for both the trips and didn't really expect a refund but both Dana and Seaforth credited my card. I never had to ask but I was nice to the person and explained that my brother just couldn't go. I know the Dana boat was stuffed and the San Diego had a load of 50 with 55 as max.
BTW: I'm not certain it applies in this case but I routinely charge a "tax" for customers that are overly demanding/difficult.
