Hi everyone. Do you know if they use wood on their transom and stringers? I’m talking about 2010 and newer Parkers.

As far as I know, all Parkers use wood, my 2017 does and comes with a warranty. They use marine grade wood and glass it in/over. I would not let that distract you from one. You will find problems with old boats occasionally, but as far as I can tell it is rare.

I love my boat, and it is a fantastic fishing platform.

The only issue is if the ply has a knot...it can crack around the knot and allow water down into the ply...minor issue on older boats unless the deck feels spongy...
