Does anyone here ride Ocotillo wells any? That's my favorite place to ride, but I doubt we'll be going there anymore this season since it's so damn hot already :( We ride the hills around Perris, and since it's so close to home we can go early in the morning for a quick ride. It sucks that it's sooo hot over the summer that we never really ride :(

funny, a yz with a wr tranny??? I have a wr 250f with a yz cam and pipe (spark arrester insert or course, and removable noise insert), cut the gray wire (to change back the timing) , used the yz throttle screw for full throttle (sums up all the free mods) , added a JD jet kit for smoother and quicker throttle response. A few other mods as well, but its basically a yz motor now with the wr trans, electric start and headlight.

Oh lets see, added aluminum rock guard, and radiator guards, hand protectors, 3.2 gallon desert tank, so the 4 stroker has about a 100 miles range. Wired in a buzzer to remind me to turn off the battery power push button. When I kill it with the kill switch, if you leave the button in on top then it kills the battery in less than a week. Now if the button is left pushed in the buzzer sounds and I know to push it out.

Occotillo is awesome and I was there over Easter, lots of people, then back 3 weeks later for much less of a crowd, pumpkin patch, pole line road, shell, all the washes, covered the whole place (more or less).

Was cruising fairly slow down south and fell off a 15 ish foot cliff (what an idiot). Came out ok , just had to replace the buzzer I wired in cause it was smashed in the fall.

Anyone know if the mailbox is still between the palm trees in anza borrego?

SURG, I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A PLACE LIKE THAT TO RIDE! WHERE IS JAWBONE CANYON? WE USUALLY RIDE BELL MNT. OR OCOTILLO WELLS. I'VE ALWAYS TOLD MY SON IT WOULD BE KILLER TO RIDE TRAILS THRU A FOREST.

Jawbone is up on the 14 about 1/2 hour to 45 min. past Mojave. I grew up riding out there and there isn't anything like it.
