Ended up going out with a family friend today for end of the season. It definitely felt like it should have been fishier at midchannel, but at this point I'd assume most fish are sick of seeing coho killers. Anyways managed a small one and a pretty decent fish both scraping bottom at the deep end of the blackmouth depth spectrum. Also managed to rescue a boat just out of the Edmonds breakwater. No exaggeration when I say they were about a minute from getting wreked on the rocks.

Way to go...karma gave you a bit of payback. Thanks for your efforts in helping out another. I think we're all curious. I can only guess they were powerless (or out of gas) and getting blown into the jeddy?

No, but the dock attendant tossed us a mooring line with a premade loop that worked pretty well.
