Del Coco Beach, CR: Kayak or shore fishing info?

Hi all,

Heading to Del Coco with the family first week of March. I plan on renting a kayak the entire week to go out in the morning / evenings.

Curious to hear if anyone has kayak / surf fished here before? Anyone have any luck here or know where the best kayak rental is? Literally any info at all would be immensely helpful!

Plan is to bring poppers, bucktails, plugs, and maybe some sabikis to jig up some live bait to troll around.

Any info at all would be much appreciated since this will be my first time there. Thanks a ton - always great info here!

thanks for the reply but pretty sure we're confusing locations I'm going to Del Coco beach, which is only 30-40 mins from Liberia.

And no need to worry - I'm used to sharks so not a problem...even if there was by some crazy off chance a white shark swimming off the shores of costa rica

no problem - Isla Del Coco looks like a diving bucket list spot for sure!

If anyone else has experience yak fishing / shore fishing around Del Coco beach let me know!
