Heading for a California direct hit.
Will this be considered a disaster for CA and a request for federal assistance, or will the californians use this as an opportunity to capitalize on the profit in the debris stream? :hali_olutta:

Should make our long early morning runs very interesting. I'd hate to encounter most of those pieces 40 miles offshore doing 20-30 mph. But, could make for some exciting fishing :)

The deadheads this will (for sure) create scare the hell out of me. Nothing worse.

I have a hard time believing this will not break up considering current flows such as Pacific Gyre, California Current, etc. These all swirl and compiled with wind waves and saturation seems to change the probability of it hitting like predicted.
