As a general rule, I won't send a denning dog in after a denned coyote or shoot one out of a tree ...I figure if he made it to either one then he won the match.

Not to diminish entering a fire solution and taking a shot from a 1/2 mile distant and making a "canoe" is every bit a thrill. Just different.

Yea... the hides can get pretty back in your neck-o-the-woods. Over here, theyre pretty jacked and mangy. Want me to send you a few?I usually wait until the latter part of October for the hides to finish priming and then it's on...I'll post new pics then.
