Went long over the weekend with the crew from The Condor........left @8pm first lines in at 1030am...about 11am troll fish hit then bait fish- total about 15 fish first stop and that was as good as it got.......they tried hard and long to put us on fish. I got one albacore...the grade of fish was good....1 bluefin was caught-jackpot for an older guy who took an hr on 25lb to get it in.....he enjoyed it I'm sure. The bluefin came off a Paddy stop...only 3-4 paddy stops all day...lot's of troll...we were about 150 miles from the point. 35 anglers -about 35 fish....The one kid on board got the 2nd biggest fish, he got a fish on the first stop and his dad got one on the last stop.......overall good group just tough fishing this time....weather was great..... Already eating...Ceviche, Sashimi and Poke...lighting the grill now.......<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

Helluva nice BF always a bit of a bummer sitting around for an hour though waiting for someone to land a fish especially when time is of the escense on a short trip....the smile on the old guys face is priceless though!

The old asian fellow is recovering from heart surgery and I'd gladly give up an hour of my fishing time to see him catch that.

Not only that I figured I'd give up some fishing time to video this event for him..........took some great shots and he wrote to say thanks........that guy was really nice he even said sorry for taking so long...I ask who is gonna go quick and lose that fish??????....he did a great job on 25lb without a high gear ratio........fishing was quite slow so this was a great time to enjoy someone else getting one......

That's great it's rare that you get an opportunity to catch a great fish and have someone take pics and video of the action....nice job.
