none.
Dark green braid is not always stealthy as people think. It is a pain in the ass like everyone else says. If your fishing on sunny day, shallow, white or flurorecent colors actually will blend better in brighter conditions.

Deep dark or cloudy days water okay.
The point is usually moot anyways, since most people fish 3-5 ft of fluro or mono.

I like tracer lines that alternate dark and bright for that reason. Also if white, I like to blend the braid with my blue garlic Spike it scent marker. You will have your camo and u can see your line

I use dark green all the time on charter boats, never had a problem, but then I fish by feel and not vision.

How about the other fishermen and deckhands? They feel your line too? Well, they do when they get tangled. It's hard to manage it when you can't see it!

I’ve bought reels from guys that had dark green or blue spectra and had it stripped off and replaced with white. Any increase in bites you might get isn’t worth the trouble it causes

Not gonna lie, it's never been an issue for me, I jig the bow, control my vertical presentation, and can't even remember fouling others lines. Been at it since the 80's.

If you have issues with it understand that not everyone does.

I have green on one of my main reels and have never had issues with it either.

Sold my Parker. You can find me on the Red Rooster.
A couple years ago I bought a used 50 full of new or almost new green Accurate 130 solid braid. I fished it once and hated it so much I stripped the line and filled it with white. I'll never fish dark green on a sport boat again. I did just fill one of my reels with multi color line so I can judge depth when flat falling. A couple of the colors will show up well. Not sure of the other two...

Yea, it perplexes me how people foam at the mouth over things like this.
I don't have problem with green if I'm using lures/jigs since I'm tight to it. The issue is with fishing bait!

It causes no troubles for me.
My concerns are for the crew having to untangle it or track it in a hot bite. If everyone stayed in touch with their bait none of us would have issues.........at least until some of us got bit

Never had an issue with Dark green/moss green braid. Only time I'm ever tangled with it is fishing PB not LR. Only time I hate the Dark green is fly lining at night, thats when I wish I had white braid. If you can keep your bait tight and feel it, you should have no issues what color braid you have, its when your fishing the port side of the boat but your bait swims up to the starboard bow and you start shifting towards the stern is when you get an issue. (I'm speaking from visual experience, one of the reasons I resort to LR boats only for 3 day trips, I pass any overnight trip.

I haven't got into a tangle since I stopped using bait. Slow pitch jigging is what I mainly do and even if I get bit the fish come straight up.

I guess everybody thinks I fish tuna or Yellowtail, I do rockfish & lingcod. The only tangles I used to get are from yahoos using bait or shrimpflys, I used to resolve it myself so the crew never gets involved, but I haven't had to deal with it in so long it's not a concern.

I agree. Using green Spectra while vertical jigging, SPJ, and even surface iron doesn't seem to be a problem, because your line is tight most of the time.

It becomes a problem when it's used while flylining. Your line is loose most of the time, and can easily tangle others near you.

Just my thoughts and experiences.
