Hey guys, I wanted to make this build thread for those who just bought/want to upgrade their Parker and would like ideas on some of the upgrades I've made. I purchased my 2021 2520xld new from Kevin from West Coast Parker and had a wonderful experience.

Through the months of using it after taking delivery I felt the need to tweak the boat for my type of liking and fishing style. Soon I found the amount of available options out there were quite overwhelming. I love options but boy, were there just endless options out there. To self navigate through them all and have them fit well, be functional, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye can be quite challenging, especially when you haven't had a visual representation of what it looks like on another boat.

Hopefully this thread will help narrow down some of the selections for you. Overall I’m very pleased with the outcome of this build and I hope you will be with yours as well. With that being said here is my current build setup.

Sweet!

Does the Costco carpet piece stay in place without bunching up or slipping if stepped on hard, say from coming in or rushing from the cabin area to the rear deck?

I’m looking at something like the Dri-Dek mat types.

It does slightly but not much once you lay a few items on top like bags, containers, or buckets. If you can find a carpet liner that is slightly thicker, it will definitely stay in place.

I'm contemplating putting a 12" screen but wasn't sure if it would be bright enough. Any issues viewing it in full sun?
For the Nss Evo 3S it is very bright and stays bright, even on a hot day. It's large enough to see while sitting at the transom. I would think a 9" mfd would be a little small from that distance though.
