Fished South of the harbor today with my dad. Targeted mostly 120-140' of water. Ended up with 3 shorts, countless lizard fish, a couple of sand dabs, and some mackerel. Overall slow day, but it's always good to be in the water.

Great seeing you guys out there. We tried running inside in 40-50 feet and didn't fair any better. Great weather, crappy fishing. Better than being at home or at work.

Seriously? I thought those things were good-for-nothing. Glad to hear they can serve a purpose other than stealing our bait.

Drifting. And at times power drifting when necessary.

Good seeing you too Chris. We tried a drift in 80' for nothing. Tides weren't very good Sunday. So I think that might have had some effect.

I've actually tried it before, but never had any luck using them. And they don't stay along very long when used as bait.
