I have a Daiwa Saltiga 30T, old school, 4.9/1 gear ratio, narrow spool, bought new, I've used it 3 times. Comes with 65 braid, clamp & box.

The 40 is great if you fish straight mono or need the extra capacity. The 30T Saltist/Saltiga are the best surface iron reels in my opinion.

That one and the other for $500. I think I’m gonna keep my eyes open for a Saltist 30T. I just don’t fish surface iron enough to justify spending $500+

The Saltist 30T works awesome for irons. If you keep an eye out I'm sure you will find one.
