I can only imagine how gratifying it'll be to kill a tuna with that reel.

You have no other choice than to run those on your troll spread...

If I'm smiling at the thought of an albacore at the other end of the line...I can't even imagine what you would be feeling.

The memorial idea is perfect! BUT first catch a tuna on one of the reels and add that pic of yourself to the memorial, that will then be complete and make you smile every time you see it!!!!!!!! Go get them Laurence, you charter buying mofo.

Brother's shirt!! I took the photo. Dad has, literally, 100s of crankbaits, 1,000s of plastic worms, grubs, jigs, and bags of spinnerbaits and other bass tackle that has rarely seen the light of day. He should not have been allowed in Bass Pro Shops or Turners and should have been blocked from online retailers. Holy crap. Today is the day to go through lots of it. I was going to lay it all out for a photo, but there's too much and it's just too damn hot in the garage (over 100°).

That is Awesome. ..I especially like the temperature gauge, way cool. Install on the boat so it can be moved to the next boat, every time you look at it, it will bring back good memories of Dad!

I don't see that Abu listed in my copy of Lawsons price guide. Must be a Sweden/Europe model?

Not a European/Sweden model. It's IFGA series. Frame is made from stainlesss steel. Drag material is cork. Amazing lever drag design, with drag on left side plate which balance out mass on both sides. Simple 1 screw takedown, no tools required similar to a Penn Jigmaster.

I wish someone would take this design and update it with modern materials and make a smaller version.
