Just go my gaff and bait net from Morita Custom Gaffs...Amazing!!!! He does an awesome job and put my logo as well as an American Flag on them. These are just so cool and unique I'm stoked to have them on my boat.

We worked a deal so now I have his gaff and he has my knife...

These are true art and I hope to bloody them up on Monday..

FYI, the fillet knives in the picture are all available. One is the large and three are the thinner, more flexible fillets. 225.00 ea and I can engrave your name on it.

Have a matching fillet set for sale. One large and one smaller more flexible. Matching ironwood.. 425.00 for set and I will throw in a leather strop and Rwbladez shirt..

I have single fillets and elk skinners ready. Also, got my hands on some rare exotic cocobolo and bocote wood. You can pick you handle material.

Some people may be hesitant due to your pricing. I just priced comparable custom knives at the Mammoth Art Show and the cheaper ones were $350 on up in excess of $500. Buy these, you get to have them personalized with type of wood on your handle and engraving.

Some people may be hesitant due to your pricing?

But his knives are $125.00 cheaper than the lowest prices at the Mammoth shows. I'm sure it would be hard to find anything cheaper and nicer than the ones that Roy is putting out!

Wow, thanks guys for the nice words..I am aware of custom knife prices and it's very hard to find a quality material, professional heat treated , nice sheath, custom knife for under 400.00.
It's also tough to justify buying a custom 250.00 fillet knife when a 30.00 knife will work.

I guess it's just what you want. I don't need a garage full of 20 rods and reels or the brand new Christiansen Arms hunting rifle to add to others in similar cartridges. I could buy my hunting clothes at Big 5 or pay for the quality of Sitka or KUIU..

I work hard so I guess I just want cool shit.

I just finished up a prototype fillet with a cord handle instead of exotic wood and a kydex instead of leather sheath.
Some people prefer cord handles for a better grip over the wood.

The idea is to offer whatever color cord matches your wraps or boat and keep the price less than the wood/leather knives.

Custom engraving will be available as well..

Nice looking knives. Saw some filet knives up in Homer AK with 'custom' wood handles (I say 'custom' with quotes 'cause they had a bunch that looked alike). While the handles looked OK, the blades were no different (and probably worse) than my old Rapala $20 knife.

And they wanted $195 each...

thanks.. yes, alot of knife makers use old saw blades for their fillet knife blades. they are kinda unique but not as solid as 440c or d2 with proper heat treat to the correct Rockwell hardness

I'd be interested in picking up one of the corded versions when you have them available. Does the sheath come with?

yes a sheath comes with it. it will either be a black leather or black kydex..im leaning toward the leather..kydex collects grit inside and tends to scratch the blade..let me know if you want a large or medium and what color wrap. or call me and we will determine what would be best..Roy 8052101493

I've seen these knives and they look great and are ridiculously sharp.

I was out with Nathan when we all went out of Dana for that long day of nothing. Also how much for a knife similar to the one in the 3rd pic of the original post.

Ya, I remember that 120 mile day of nada. I was hoping we would all have some fish to clean. If you are talking about the 3rd picture of the Elk Skinner, Those are made with D2 steel and come with an awesome custom leather Sheath.. They are around 260.00-280 depending on what wood we decide on.

Just got a knife from Roy for my brother. Wasn't really sure what he wanted but Roy helped me and ended up making a beautiful piece that was exactly what I was picturing. Awesome leather sheath with a beautiful wooden handle. Even got my brothers name engraved on the blade. Super clean and professionally done. This guy definitely knows what he's doing. Thanks again Roy!

    Mike,

Glad you liked it. FYI that is considered a "bird and trout" design of knife. I used cocobolo wood and 440c stainless. I was super stoked with this design and it's one of my favorites.

Here are a couple pis of the knife. If anyone wants one like this, a fillet or elk skinner, hit me up.
