    That's a great avatar you got there!!! And great advice too. We bleed everything we keep as well and ice right away. It realy does make all the difference in the world.........no matter if it's a game fish, rockfish, halibut, sunfish, etc.............

    First gut the fish and throw the guts away
    then debone the fish and throw the bones and head away
    Definitely cut out the bloodline and throw that away
    thoroughly cook the filet and then feed that to your neighbors cat


    Im not hating, and if you like the taste of it, more power to ya,
    I have tried eating this fish using every technique described in here, I just dont have a taste for them I guess.

    nonetheless, I have lots of fun C&Ring them, I keep some for thresher or lobster bait
