The bluefin scenery never gets old and always keeps us on our toes. I actually was not on my boat, but rather on a clients new 2320 they had purchased last year. (Dustin, from this board as well). The boat is rigged really nice and very similar to my own. Kevin from West Coast Parker always does anything he can to help us dial in our Parkers.

The game plan was bluefin however while heading south we ran across a bird school with yellowtail frothing on the surface. We immediately made short work and was able to put 3 yellowtail on board.

Once in the zone, the key signs gave them away and another bird school was working some bait. Started to mark some on the meter and with some heavy chum, they came up biting.

We put on 3 bluefin on 25 and 30lb on Flyline sardine, all quality models.

Nothing like watching a father/son duo get on these fish. The smiles tell it all. This is going to change, but I'm currently batting 1000 this year on all the bluefin trips this year. skunks are inevitable but its what makes us all better fisherman. Thanks for reading.

(The food was made by svu, so idont have the recipes for them)

Also, last weekend, I held my second sold out bluefin seminar in San Diego and it was an absolute success. Great meeting many of you on this board. I have one last upcoming Bluefin Tuna Seminar in Orange County on June 8th, from 9am-1pm. $75 per person. I cover every aspect of everything I know. Thanks for letting me do what I do! Grateful

Usually when someone is as successful as you are they become aloof and salty. You don't seem to be any of those. Best of luck to you. You're an amazing fisherman.

Very nice write up. Thank you!
By the looks of it, you should keep doing the seminar circuit!
As conditions keep changing, you could teach how to adapt and adjust. Just a thought anyway...or start your own on-line fishing school...i.e. Bluefin University !!!
