Congrats! Usually that boat is going for counts at Tanner/Cortez and stays away from trophies.

Phones do take video landscape rather than portrait. Plays back full screen that way.

Sorry for the grilling with questions. Which hook setup seemed to stick best on the flat falls? Did you change the assist hooks and do you have a pic of one to share so I can rig mine appropriately

    Thanks

The first rig I used was a 500gm glow flatfall that I moved the hooks to the upper ring. That rig tired me out so on our move, I switched to a 250gm glow Shimano flatfall which I didn't have time to rerig. That's what got bit.

Right on. I’ve changed the setup on some of mine but just wanted to know if people were breaking hooks or the assist line was failing. Sounds like they work the way Shimano made em!! Lol

That’s 200lb jinkai leader with chaffing gear on it. This is the very proven way to rig it. Some people use fluorocarbon, but it’s nighttime when your dropping them, line don’t matter. I just want that abrasion resistance for the teeth

I've heard recently that many are being caught on the stock hooks because of all the other hooks affecting the way the jig sinks. Did you notice any issues like that? Or were more of your bites on the retrieve? If so, were you grinding or a steady wind?
