Decided to take my 6 year old out to go Rock Fishing down south. Its his first time out on the open ocean. The furthest ive taken him before this trip was La Jolla, and he did great on this trip. We left shelter, hit bait barge for a half scoop and began our trek down south. We were moving around quite a bit looking for structure since I didnt have any solid coordinates for any rock spots down south, so I just winged it and was unsuccessful for a few hours until another boater came over the radio and shared a spot with us. Nonetheless, he had a blast and got to pull on some nice sized reds! If you’re the Skipper that shared the spot and your reading this, Huge THANK YOU!
