    Took a day off work because the wind forecast looked light. It was like a lake till about 1:00pm. Picked up a new battery charger (nice one 10 or 30 AMP) to replace my 30+ year old charger. Did not know deep cycle batteries should only be charged at 10amps, now I do. With only one reliable battery I stayed local to the DP area hitting some of my local spots.

    It was a nice steady pick on Bass and Sculpin throughout the day. Caught about 15 mixed bass and 5 Sculpin, a couple of large models of each. All the fish were release except one 4lb Calico, which was transformed into this;

    It was a great meal to top off another beautiful day on the water.

    Here's a quick video of some Dolphin from yesterday.

    Meet a guy at the dock who gave me some good tips for fishing Halibut locally.
    It was a GOOD day!

    I missed out... I checked reports for an evening trip and it didn't look like beginner friendly weather. Good job!

    Thanks for the heads up. The Sculpin were released, one bass not so lucky.
