Covington Costco has this LEM MaxVac Pro for $600. Not sure if it does retorts or not but looks like it’s $1,000 anywhere else.

Saw them in Silverdale a few days after I bought LEM's best bag sealer at Sportco.

I'm pretty happy with the one I have, but always wanted a chamber sealer like the big kids.

    Anyone using one of these?

Subscribed. At this price I could get into the chamber sealer game if consensus is this one is good.
(Birthday is in a week so could point the wife this direction!!)

I've had a lem bag sealer for last 5 years and it is super solid. LEM makes good stuff.

I am a little confused by the specs. Says 560 watt 3/4 hp motor then 180 watt 1/4hp rotary vacuum pump. Which is it as I am sure it only has one motor. What would the second motor be for? If it only has a 1/4 hp vacuum pump that is not great. The bigger the pump the better.

My advice is call Thom about your needs and have him recommend a sealer and get pricing. If you don’t have the $, wait and save it up. Buy once cry once. Also if you want to do retorts don’t dick around with units that “might” be made to work, get one that is factory ready retort capable.

Took @Reel Hooker advice and worked with Thom recently. Came home with a champion minipack chamber sealer.
