We left shelter island about 7AM. Little traffic at the ramp and bait barge. Only 3-4" pinner anchovies available. The weather was awesome with little wind and swell. Our plan was to fill the freezers with bottom fish at the islands, and boy did we. The fish were on the chew and we limited out. Highlights included a 12# sheephead and a...61# white seabass. Both were weighed on Dana Landing's scale- Thanks guys! Most fish, including the toads were caught on chunks of squid on the bottom. The white seabass was caught at 200'+ deep. I think we saw one other boat and a couple whales. Good times. Will post a pic when at home later.
