5 am. Bait receiver for beautiful sardines! Ran to north island slow trolling baits for hours and no luck on the yellowtail ran to South Island where there was a least a dozen tuna pens. Tried Rapalas no go. Went to middle grounds and lots of bait but no fish. Went back up to North Island and the bass were on the chew! Loaded up for the last couple hours and never caught a small one! Must've caught 10 and they were all legal size! Took home three for dinner and they were the small ones! Got my biggest one ever today! Beautiful day on the water. A little windy in the afternoon but not bad. I did hear of some tuna off Del Mar. hope this helps for anyone going out this week. Water is starting to clear up at the islands. 15 hour days. I hope this makes sense. See you on the water!

Be careful around the Tuna pens! There is rope floating all around them! Some pictures of the day.

They put out prop foulers or ropes to damage props to keep people from pens. You can buy a bft off the ranchers. I know a guy that gets them. When he can not catch any. A ranch guy told someone. Lol
