Solo trip Oh dark 30 at the launch ramp shelter Island only one person ahead of me! Got excellent bait and only three people in the Baitline. 30 kn run to the North Island put out the Rapalas and not more than two minutes 15 pound yellowtail on the deck! Talk to Ron hustler down at South Island and he was starting to get bluefin tuna! Got down there and it was game on! Wide-open yellowtail and the bluefin tuna would be breezing all over. Have a double on and got about a 20+ pound bluefin tuna! Lost a bigger one at color! Continue to be excellent yellowtail fishing for easy limits and then started to release them!10am time to go home! Forgot my phone in my truck today so go pro video will be up soon! Go fishing! See you on the water

Thanks for passing off the bait to us - instant bluefin and yellowtail hookups with that killer bait (ours was shit - mostly rolled by 9am) = GOOD KARMA!

Just curious, what do you think you had on that had you pegged to the rail for what seemed like a loooong time - black sea bass possibly?

I'm stuffing my piehole with bluefin poki as I type!

Always try to help a brother out! We been friends for a long time! Remember those Baja trips? I have been taking some muffins and some croissants to the bait guys lately so they've been hooking me up! My Bait Tank is excellent! I really think Mark Wish nailed it with the teardrop shape! 60 gallons gives them a little wiggle room! I have been using my light in the Bait Tank and it seems to help! Today's bait was beautiful!
I am sure it was a black Seabass that I had on for a little while! I tried backing the boat up several times and I would gain a little bit but he would take it right back! 30 pound test is pretty light and I'm surprised I had him on for that long! Definitely one for the books! Not every day you get bluefin tuna close to home!

A double solo? One rod per angler in Mexico, correct me if I'm wrong.
