    331 on 80#, Wow!!
Casting an ATD 30 is also an acquired skill.
Wish I were there is an understatement. Look forward to your report.
Thanks for the great fish porn.

Holding the fish out at arms length isn’t fooling anyone. And it’s not needed for this pic, congrats bad ass fish.

I was wondering how he would get out from behind. The shadows and arm position suggest to me that that fish is against his chest! Correct, no tricks to make it look big, only to get it in the frame! I suspect the entire crew stood it up and Jeff had to squirm in behind. Quick get the shot before it fell back and crushed him.

Classic. Nice fish, especially on a casted bait.

Such a great shot. The fish had to be rigormortis to stand up straight. If it went 331# it was a tad heavier before rigormortis

Legit super and not a squeaker. Mission accomplished :D

Hey guys, that fish was just caught.. no rigor at all.. It was pushing hard against my legs as I tried to keep it still for the photos.. I'm still so amazed that I was lucky enough to hook and land that giant

    Jeff,
Next time, hold it with your right hand under the gills and left gripping its waist, with arms out straight, towards the camera. Oh, and hold your rod and reel crossways in your teeth. Oops, this one is in a different league!

What a fish! And the photo is really well done, good light, little blood, nice fatigued smile.

Look forward to hearing more details. Like: Why the tape on both index fingers?

    Again, congratulations!!

This was a trip about quality over quantity... you really had to work hard to get a fish during our 3 days of fishing... (also be lucky to get that bite)... But, it's not often that you see 12 guys, catch 2 super cows over a couple of days..

Ted is the angler in the blue shirt, he hooked the fish when it was still light, he was so focussed on fighting the fish, it must have never occurred to him to take off his sunglasses...

Great fish and great pics Jeff. What an amazing place. I was on the other boat that was there on your last day.

Hooking that beast on a cabbie and rail fighting them on a boat that doesn’t spin in circles raises the bar.

    Well done man:appl:
