Heard a few yellowfin and few lil' rats yesterday, pretty scratch. It' over for me. Amazing
how stripping topshots off reels to go in for service, every reel has lots of memories....
The HX 5/2 BIG bluefin in may already the end of day 1, after we caught bluefin and
yellowfin in the 100's earlier on the LX, JX, MXL....and the rest of the season there on. LOL
The memories are many, & I'll be posting my annual WHAT A SEASON it was photo collection
later in the month that recap a season likely to go down in history. See you all in 2015!

We tried n cried real hard Thurs-6th. Final- 3 Yfin, 1 ytl....n a few 10oz ytail released. Water temp was down to bout 70.4. :o(. Still a beautiful day, but, nothing like we've enjoyed for many weeks.
Lots of bird life, dolphin skools, whales, but, every paddy was empty. Those fish must have done a U-turn n went back So. I saw just ystrdy, boats were pickn away at Bfin up to 40 lbs, some Yfin, n Ytail out at Cortez/Tanner banks ystrdy. Here's a rare sight we had just before dark on Thurs. Two humpbacks playing.

Well with the new Bluefin limit at 2 per day next year, guess we'll have to keep TWO BIG ONES? LOL
See you all in 2015. See Norm's post with link to story in the San Diego paper. TC
