WOW what a trip with a LL of 23 we rolled Wed.nt with Capt Mike Roman,
2nd Mike2, Tad,Matt,Chris on Deck and Billy making great food all trip!
After a load of big dines, off to start at 80 miles Thursday morning.
Frankly, all hit and miss, lot of paddies, few holding, few jig strikes,
some meter marks of tuna schools, no biters. THEN we chased down
a big school of porpoise and finally a 5 across jig strike on football
yellowfin, and 7 more on bait for 12, it's a start. LOL We worked that
whole area, tip of the Dumper, but not much to be found-bottom line.
After lunch we headed back north where a couple loaded paddies had
been marked and GPS' logged at about 60 miles, where they hopefully
had reloaded for another near sundowner ripper! IT HAPPENED, we
didn't even get to the paddy and a 5 across jig strike and every bait,
popper, jig, whatever hit the water WHAM nice sized 15-25lb LIMITS
of Dorado to die for. Wide open lunacy, total bloodbath til Mike said
STOP FISHING...>WE'RE DONE! LOL We even dropped the Wahoo jigs,
Raiders etc for Nada. We gave it a go. LOL For most of us, many longtime
regulars and veteran winders like Norm,MikeB, Mike2,Eugene,Stewert,
and many more, it was DONE For a season to to remember! WOW!
After a hot shower, and Billy's killer chicken fetticini dinner=the rack! LOL
THANKS TO SCOTT AND THE WHOLE CREW...YOU ROCK!!! SEE YOU
ON OUR 4 DAYS IN MAY 1ST TRIP IN 2015...TIME TO EAT SOME FISH! LOL

That trip rocked! The Crew and Mike were super. Food was excellent. Mike Roman is an up and comer as a young star captain! All the fishermen caught fish and had fun.
    Sorry I cut you off?

Great trip with a quality group of experienced fishermen. Crew did well, Mike had to burn a little extra fuel to find fish. Amazing how the dorado could cause so much conflict on the deck even with so many experienced rods. What a fun time! Not a single "that guy" on the trip. Pleasure to meet you, the Mikes, Norm, Eugene, et al.

Fun fishing with you Ron. We really did put the wood to them!

Every bait on that last stop was bit, and it was fun catching and releasing them.

Thanks Ron for another great writeup with pics. Fun fishing with you again. Even though I've heard your stories 50x's over. hahaha. We did it again, and drove away, leaving them chewing the paint off the boat. Unbelievable fishing on these big dorado. Nothin' like it. I see Scott has schedule up for next week. Lets pray this weather front doesn't blow the whole thing out. I'm not ready for fresh water fishn yet. Lol! Nice fishing with all you new folks. A very special thank you again, to the Condor and crew for helping make this a great season of fishing, n down right fun times. Till next time. Hookup!
