Snag? Yeah right, that's all I would need, a 28lb yellowfin tail hooked on 20#. LOL
Thought about it though when he got his head down and took off again
towards the horizon screaming spectra off my little MXL. LOL Fun stuff!
See you sometime Jeff....there's plenty more out there still. Now Wahoo?

    They're biting
Hmmm I'd guess south with limits of yellowfin (240) 11 Dorado
and 81 Yellowtail on kelps for the last day of a 3 day!
Monday and Wednesday trips are light so far!
Get out and load up the freezer gang? LOL

Ron, Marcus. We had slow fishing on friday after noon, a few 20 to 25 lb. class caught but fish boiling every where. Saturday much of the same. later afternoon boiling blue fin 60 to 80 lb. no biters. went 130 miles south for full limits of smaller yellow fin most on 20# number 2 hooks. big thanks to Scott and the boy's. Great birthday trip.

Go for the abuse??? I'm a private boat fisherman...That's abuse. lol . I do go on sporties a few times each year. That's luxury for me. I guess your abuse is catching fish after fish with a beer and burger in your hand. Hahaha. I might just have to do that. Sounds kinda nice. My kind of abuse! Good job Ron!

HA! Try racing a 37ft sailboat from LA to Hawaii in the Transpac with 7 for 14 days I'll show
you ocean abuse. I did! LOL Tuna boats as close as I'll come to a cruise ship now. LOL LOL
Besides, sporties hold more bait, and you get more abuse from more fishin' buddies!
