Well gang, after a mountain bike vs. tree branch diversion, surgery #6 and recovery 2 months
it was time to ROLL On Condor and test the repaired wing fishing. We rolled at 9 with Capt
Scott, 2nd Vinny, Scott and Sam on deck and Christophf making killer food all trip long. With
only 17 this gang would rock. Regulars Norm, son Mark Engle, Kevin "Hurler" Gross, Tom, Joe,
John, Jesus, Jesse, Mike and more made it rocking good time all day. Heaven=light load in July!

After a nice load of small to bigger dines it was OFF south 70 miles for an area finally getting
loaded up with fish now. Long story short, we caught 100++ yellowtail, throwing back more
than limits kept on wide open paddies. Some held dorado, some bigger yellowtail (see pics)
but it was limits by 10 then just crazy. Two of us got football yellowfin tuna, 1 on zucchini
feather, mine on purple Halco running down some porpoise. They never stopped, so no
chance with bait. We "goofed off" with the iron, colt snipers, etc in the PM during more
Yellowtail madness, and easier to release after some fun fun paddies. Gotta love it.
On wide open paddy, even a Marlin jumped off the stern gorging on yellowtail!!
TACKLE: 25-30lb for most, even 40-50 instant bite on wide open yellows. 1-2/0 Hooks
We ended up with limits of yellowtail for 17=85 kept, 11 Dorado, 2 Yellowfin Tuna.

By 8 I'd hit the hot shower and downed some Alieve to numb the worn out shoulder,
but all it all it put some fish in the freezer. Good for now. Next it's time for Christophf's
Oriental Chicken/veggies on rice, after salad and a LONG nights sleep.
I've since renamed it Chicken Sacre Bleu....LOL LOL...killer food! THANKS to
Scott and crew, and all the GREAT FOLKS I FISHED WITH (or put up w/me LMAO)
Gonna heal up some more while boats booked solid, so see you soon hopefully!
Here's a few pics of nicer fish, will add more if received later. Add yours/post too!

How nice for you! I had every confidence that you would be OK after your recent additional surgery, but it was good to have it confirmed. You never know until you go . . . like Indiana Jones said, "It's not the years, it's the mileage." You obviously have lots of sea-miles left!

Thanks for all of the releases . . . I'm going on the 2.5 trip the first weekend in August, and hopefully they will grow to double the size by then.

Hey Ron, Jon and I had fun fishing with you. It is funny how the crew always tells everyone it is Ron's fault, even when when you were on the other side of the boat. Throes guys like you. Great trip, i wish the bait was a little bigger. That was the first time on the Condor, it will not be my last. The boat is very roomy and drifts perfect. Scott is a great captian. It was cool at the end of the day he was on the deck sharing in on all the BS. All the guys on the boat were great to fish with.
