Approximately 20 Anglers on a day-and-a-half only one fish on the boat by 5:30 p.m.
After 5:30 Skipper spotted a School and we sat on it for 30 or 40 minutes before it went on The Chew ended up with 13 bigger grade Bluefin 60-140 lbs
Skipper and crew strongly recommended against anything less than 40 unfortunately I hooked 80 lb class on 30 very luckily got it to the boat after two plus hours. Condor crew is simply one of the best. Works through some major league Tangles and save fish at the beginning of the beginning of Nightfall.
Most fish were taken on fly line a few on Sinker rig a few on flat falls.

Absolutely. But with the consistent late afternoon/evening bite, I'm curious why some of the boats don't do reverse overnights. Leave at 8 am and back by 6 am the next day. I'd love that!

I wish they did this as well but I think it's so guys get a good chance at the pre dawn flat fall bite for the cows even though it hasn't really produced much this season so far.

Also I'm sure boats don't want to make the haul during sunlight. Would make anglers get the perception of less fishing time compared to getting on the boat at night, falling asleep and waking up straight into fishing.

Day and a half trip for me also. Be on the water for the sundowner bite.I like sleeping on the way back and waking up in the early morning as we approach Mission Bay.
