Returned this morning from a 1.5 day on the Condor. Scott and co, as usual, were top notch. One of my top 2 favorite boats in the fleet. The water was pondlike and the weather was perfect. Went long... probably 70-100 miles south. Typical pick and pop day of fishing. Paddy hoping for real good sized Dodo's and Yellowtails. Numbers weren't outrageous but we stayed busy enough to keep happy. Ended the day in the middle of giant schools of schoolie Yellowfins (8-15 lbs.) that would sink out when we got too close. The boat managed to pick up just a few.I ended the day going 4-5 on Dorado and Yellowtail. Farmed a pretty big Dodo at the corner and tossed back a rat yellow. Still, the boat, captain and crew are what separate this operation from many of the others I have fished. Good stuff.

do you think the overnight boats have a chance? Gussing they will only go about 50 miles? Are there at least paddies?

Hard to say... we woke up about 60-70 miles south and headed south pretty much all day... saw paddies almost immediately.

This would be the year to do it... their loads have been uncommonly light. Plus, I've been on that boat about 6 times... on here for a few years and I've NEVER heard anyone with a bad thing to say about it.

shot in the eye Monday before cataract surgery. Maybe in a couple weeks. LOL
I know Marcus, Norm, a few other regs are though. See you all soon in 2 weeks..

If you have an hour or two to listen to my negative feedback on this operation you won't be able to say that again.

I was on the Oceanside 95 and we were about the same distance as Scott before we saw those same schoolie yellowfin. We were 120 miles from oceanside harbor. Before that we ran into patties with the same grade of yellowtail and Dorado on them. We had the same experience with the YF dropping out as soon as we got close, or if not, having lockjaw. We got 12 on the boat fishing those schools for about 2 hours. 3 on the troll on cedar plugs. Mine went 8 pounds. Lots of dry patties down there though.

Fished an overnighter on the Dominator early this week had a blast paddy hoppin and actually catching good grade fish that would eat a flylined sardine(imagine that!).Good kelp zone was around 80 down. Then worked back up to yft area in greener water and spots up everywhere. They wouldnt touch bait but we got em on the poppers.Total tally for me that day was 3yt,1 dodo, and 2 yft.I am ashamed to say but dumped 4 others on the first stop ,think i had some faulty floro cause after that i straight tied 40lb mono and didnt dump anymore. After a tough season so far it felt great to yank and crank.Captain Tim on the Dominator is a fish killer id recommend jumping on with him if u get the chance.

Keep it to yourself. Don't quite give a hard boiled crap about what some guy I've never met nor could care less what he thinks has to say. I don't post negative stuff on here... I don't feel the need to drag people down.

Kiss my asshat mister. Said he NEVER heard a bad word about that boat. I offered him some. When you reject the truth you will believe a lie. ANY lie.
Oh, and BTW, your post was FULL of negative crap

Well since you're Gay already, I DON"T. By the way, I've fished the boat
often for years because it's one of the best, captains and crews included.
I let my pictures speak for themselves. See you soon on Condor everyone! LOL
