Put boat in at DP at 5 am this morning with my friend Art his sled, and it was about 50 degrees summer may be gone now.
Headed south on 26 ft Blackman GAME TIME. Stopped at receiver they had Chovies and Macks 6-9 inch a bit small for our needs so we took a scoop of Macks and off to our Regular spot.

Rig of choice was Tallica 12 2 speeds 65 lb spectra 2 ft of 60lb Floro Water temp was 68.1 hardly anyone on the water all this talk about High winds on my Trip planning report well it was cold but not windy by anymeans. Got to our spot and current wasnt really in our favor so we fished Calico and trolled a bit only getting Bonita. We jigged up some bigger macks in the 12-15 inch range, About 1:30pm current changed and it was game on. We landed 2 Yellows 30lb plus and 1 BSB which was released boat side after making sure he was good to swim on his own.

Here is a few pics these fish are around all year so if the tuna are gone their is still fun to be had Big Baits Big fish

GREAT YT fishing--nothing wrong with the size of those two--you look close to shore too, let that be a lesson to us that are staying home too much. Good work, nice report
