left Marina Del Rey on Bill Graska's 78' "Thunder" mid day Thursday and on the grounds below the Coronados that evening. We stopped on 3 sonar hits for no bites. After the third stop we made our way towards the banks outside Ensenada. The sun came up and we passed through an area holding life but no bites on the spreader bars. As we continued south the water cooled and so did our hopes. The decision was made to head back up the line a bit. The water warmed back up to 61 degrees and we started to see life. We switched out the spreaders to the Mad Macs then at about noon it turned on. Ended up with 3 bites, lost one but

but put put two on board. Beautiful weather, great boat and even better company.
