Starting to layout the goodies. Does anyone have a trailer recommendation in San Diego?

Windows by Marks Plastics in Corona. His product is Badass. My fiberglass guys kick ass as well, if you need glass work, please hit me up. I will pass on the info. I really want to see these guys do well.

Mark is great! He made the original windows for the Cabo Cuddycon's so I hit him up earlier this year for a replacement. Might be needing some glass work in the future.Where are they out of?

These guys are down in San Diego. They work at a fiberglass shop from 430 am-130 pm Monday - Friday, then do side work. I seriously could not have done this project without these 2 guys.

Your making some great progress with all that glass work. Your going to love the Pilothouse over the dog house you had on it. What is your plan for non skid on the deck? I agree with the steps over a ladder, so much easier. I had the steel steps on rollers since I was on cement. Thanks for bringing us along,,,gregg

Deck is done, used 30 silica and gelcoat with a web over it. Might end up sanding it down and going darker once I am done rigging.

What kind of deck hatches are you using?
Jim Black Hatches ordered from Great Lakes Skipper. Only hatches rated to walk on for deck use other than like $800 aluminum cast hatches.

Any suggestions on how to treat this metal once we are done with fabrication? I can have it sand blasted and powdercoated for 1200, or ship it to freaking Arizona for a hot dip galv bath. Or use the gnarliest industrial primer and paint known to man, Krylon Epoxy primer and Urethane topcoat. For once I am a bit stumped. Any feedback would be appreciated. We are adding 3 feet to rear of trailer, and redoing all new galvanized under structure with new parts from Pacific Trailer.

Trailer paint really shouldn't ever come off so I would get it completely prepped and go the epoxy route. Don't leave any rust underneath though!

Will get the trailer back from powder coat on Tuesday, meeting stainless guy next week as well. Boat is wired, plumbed, and mostly dialed. Fishfinder, GPS, stereo system, lights all in.

On another note, the deck is being redone. We will sand it down and do it way darker

Solo mission yesterday late afternoon into evening. 1 carne asada burrito, 6 (ok 8) Kona Big Wave Beers, 2 full Tool albums on repeat, 1 gallon of acetone, and 2 tubes of 5200 later, and we have a motor bracket/kids dive platform.

Kinda hard to see, but we picked up the fabricated and extended trailer today from San Diego Powder Coat and special thanks to the guys at Pacific Trailer for hooking us up with the new parts. Hopefully this sucker is on the sled by end of the week. But, my work line just blew up, its a go its a go, its a go, its a go..... the construction guys out there know the drill, feast or famine.....so, here, we, go....
