Hey gang the Chief just returned from an open party 1-1/2 day trip with 30 anglers fishing US waters and we landed 29 Bluefin, 29 Yellowfin along with 6 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado fishing West of the 43 on Friday. We did not get the bait needed to complete this mission but did the best we could with a 80% Anchovy mix and 20% Sardine but we still managed 29 Bluefin and 29 Yellowfin with many lost due to lite tackle fishing with the Anchovies and still did land some Bluefin on the small bait but big bait is the way to go with medium tackle .If we had the candy we would have done much better but it is what it is and we hooked 3 Yellowfin after dark on the crome yoyyo. Big schools of Bluefin in this area (screen filler) but timing is everything.
