Clean title and never any major issues. Strong 6 cylinder with tow hitch. Grey leather interior.
This belonged to my elderly parents and spent its entire life in the garage. My father is a retired tooling engineer and kept this vehicle meticulously maintained. Must sell due to deteriorating ability to drive. I would keep it but I already have 5 vehicles. This is a great reliable SUV.

Yes. It is strong. It does leak a little oil...but not very much. I towed my 18’ skiff (3500 lbs) a couple of times for a very short distance. Pulls no problem with that engine. Tongue weight was a little bit much since it is a little soft in the back. Rides great when not towing.

Any idea where the leak is coming from? I am interested in the vehicle.

It’s a few drops on my driveway since I parked it there a couple weeks ago...that’s all I know. No sign of leaking oil under the hood and I haven’t looked underneath. It’s a very small amount. I’ll take a look next week when I have time.

In those motors is usually the main seal located between motor and transmission. Big job to repair that. Not trying to affect anybody.

It is amazing how people on this boa
This is supposed to be a community in which we help one another as fellow fishermen and outdoorsmen. What has gone wrong?
I have a pristine suv that my parents cared for meticulously and I’m offering it at a fair price.
There are always a small number of “know it alls” that play quarterback from their lazy boy and ruin good things. It truly bums me out! I’ve watched it over and over on other people’s thread as they try to sell their cool belongings. I plead to everyone....
Try to be helpful and not destructive. BD is such a cool vehicle for information and brotherhood.

Chill. Seems to me he has a little knowledge and was potentially answering a question asked in a prior post. I didn’t read it as bashing your thread. A small drip isn’t going to affect the price. Good luck with sale.

Suggesting a rear main is leaking with no knowledge other than there being a few drops of oil on the driveway seems a little drastic to me.

You guys are worried about a few drops of oil when he’s asking 1900 for an otherwise nice blazer? I finally got rid of my 2001 Grand Prix a few months ago and it had a oil leak from the main engine seal for years. Not a big deal. I still have a 2007 4wd Trailblazer that I’ll probably have for another 10 years now that it’s not my daily driver.

I am chill. You’re right...it won’t effect me selling it or how much I get for it. The dude has never even seen the car and he is suggesting a major repair. Yeah...no big deal....but simply not helpful to anyone. Especially not me. It’s not helpful to anyone interested in buying it either. Doesn’t matter because the car is pristine, underpriced and gone to the first person that looked at it from CL. Some random lady got a sweet deal on a clean reliable suv that she will tow her kids with in the back seat. I was seriously planning to give someone here first shot. It would have been cool to have sold it to a fellow lover of the outdoors or just a cool dude that needed a reliable tow vehicle. Totally sucks to watch people’s ads get bashed by a holes that don’t really give a shit one way or another. I’m disappointed because this used to be a really cool inner circle of bros. I’ve scored some sweet deals here and sold some here as well. Easier now to just throw up an ad on CL without all the “know it alls” chiming in. Sorry to be a whining bitch. It just bums me out.

You are irritated. Calling me a hole. As stated before it was just a sugestión. I was trying to help you as a seller and the potential buyer to avoid a big surprise about the small leak and come back to you.
I do have knowledge. Sorry That you got offended that bad. I guess is just a matter of perception.

My bad...I apologize. I did jump the gun. I was just reading the boat classified ads and there were a bunch of really negative comments being written. I realize I over reacted and I am sorry. Tough situation selling my Dad's suv since he is getting too old to drive. No excuse for my aggression...sorry bro.
