This hobie pro angler had a lowrance hds5 with sonic hub music sysytem installed. I was able to play my iphone's music through speakers mounted on the front hatch.

Indeed, it is. But that HDS Gen2 is AWESOME! The music? Eh, not so much.

Saving up for an HDS 7 for my PA 14 (HUGE OVERKILL but it will sure be nice not having to squint).

Instead of that Sonic Hub, I'd be more inclined to spend on a couple good marine handhelds. It's surprising how many of the "in the know" people in LJ actually use them.

That's cool, but good luck chasing connection problems in about a year. But it's cool now tho.
A microwave would be my choice. :)

Yep, that is a corrosion problem child right there. And who needs the extra 20 lbs of parts wires and battery needed.

    these are skiffs!

That PA has the "Car Show" Wow! factor built in by design. It is a "show Boat"

Here are a couple practical every day drivers!

It was probably built specifically for shows like Fred Hall, etc. We did stuff like that with OEX to catch their attention as they walked by, works like a charm.

It's well worth it to do this because you'll get a dude with a lot of money and he'll say "I want 2 set up exactly like this, here's my credit card"

Happens more than you would think.

That is the ultimate fishing kayak. But for, was it 5g? I would looking for a boat.
On the other hand, since I am on a yak budget for the time being, I am considering installing a cheap marine stereo system on Mycenae at some point. Unless I get some boat money first. :D
