"Like father like son"... be respectful of other people's property! You know the "Golden Rule": treat others as you would want to be treated yourself (would you want kids or adults F'n up your display?).

"old school BD" where anything goes………. the porn type fishing website that this place used to be. I haven't seen an avatar of a satanic symbol tattoo'd on a man's asshole for a few years as one example for those of you who weren't around back then.”

I call BS without links or pics.

I shop everywhere. If I go out of your store and I haven’t left a couple of hundred behind you should consider closing the doors as I’m a tackle slut and if you can’t sell to me your useless.

Surfdoc, how would you feel if allcoast.com stuck stickers on your booth at the Fred Hall show or your personal boat or vehicle? What if Charkbait.com guys did the same? What if companies that did not advertise on BD did the same? I suspect you would be pissed off! It's simply not a cool or very adult like thing to do unless you are in your teens hangin at Wahoo's Fish Tacos where it is the norm. You have a popular site, why piss off any potential advertisers or risk getting thrown out of the show for bad marketing practices (obviously I know you cannot control where ad materials go or the passion of BD members but I seriously would think twice about encouraging disrespectful behavior or saying it's ok). Try slapping some of your stickers on the Intrepid or RP without permission and see what the owners and captains would say about that... I don't believe they would be too happy and you would certainly hear about it.

This has nothing to do with how serious a fisherman anyone is, its about respect for the fishing tackle industry and the folks who make their living in it.

If members want to put BD stickers on their tackle box, car, truck, bike, boat, forehead or even their girl's ass that is just fine... go for it!, but don't be a "punk" and paste your passion on other folks personal property without their permission.

Just my 2 cents as a business owner and former tackle industry rep.

Don't know about your Wahoo's but the ones I frequent have stickers everywhere, and I see teens pasting their surf and skate stickers all the time in Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel locations. Seems like the chain encourages it or lets say they don't discourage it! I still think it is disrespectful to paste stickers on anyones personal property without their permission, try having your kid paste stickers at their school and see how fast they will learn a lesson about proper manners!

Kind of a skinny dude to be calling somone you have not seen or met a "douche bag". you might want to hit the "punching bag" a little more before you flex your cyber muscles too much there bad boy [IMG]

Honestly, if someone put an Allcoast or any other sticker on our booth at Fred Hall, or Day at the Docks or where ever, we'd laugh. We still have a sense of humor.

As for Wahoo's, it's cool to put stickers up in the store, but they certainly do not have anyone putting their stickers up elsewhere. That is the point that Corb was making. Garibaldi came off sounding like he was suggesting that the folks at Wahoo's promote or encourage people to put Wahoo's stickers on other people's property which is entirely not the case. Since Corb runs one he was making it clear that it was not the case.

Now, hooray. Charkbait will have a store in San Diego. Hooray. Bloodydecks is all grown up. Hooray.

Once upon a time we were the bad boy, rogue fishing forum. Now we're simply the largest, most popular fishing forum in the world. As such, we act accordingly. If you are still a little sore around your delicate bits because of the way Bloodydecks came up through the ranks, we're sorry, get some ointment, you'll be fine eventually.
